Joshua Bauman boasts over 20 years of experience in the IT field, leveraging his expertise across various sectors to fortify cybersecurity in K12 education for the past decade. Currently, he serves as the Director of Technology at the Festus R-VI School District, where he spearheads the district's technological vision and strategy.

Prior to his dedication to K12 education, Joshua honed his IT skills in both the Healthcare and Higher Education industries, gaining valuable experience that translates seamlessly into his current role. A strong believer in collaboration and knowledge sharing, Joshua actively serves on the Missouri State Cybersecurity Committee and he serves as a State Lead for the MS-ISAC K12 Working Group. Further demonstrating his commitment to data security, Joshua is part of the Missouri Student Data Privacy Alliance Leadership team, ensuring responsible data practices throughout the state.

Beyond his passion for IT and cybersecurity, Joshua is dedicated to giving back to his community. He served for nine years on the Developmental Disabilities Advocates board of directors, even chairing the organization for four years. His commitment to inclusivity extends to his volunteer work with Unlimited Play, a non-profit that builds accessible playgrounds, ensuring all children have the opportunity to experience the joy of play.
