Jason Skeen has nearly 3 decades of experience in the information technology field in private companies, healthcare, and government, with work ranging from hands on technology deployments to complex system implementations. Since 2016 he has been dedicated to the information security field with responsibilities in vulnerability management, Governance, Risk, and Compliance, and security operations.
He is a graduate of the UNC School of Government Certified Government Chief Information Officer (CGCIO) program. He is an active member of the North Carolina Local Government Information Systems Association (NCLGISA) and regularly presents content at the organization’s bi-annual symposiums.
When Jason was part of the healthcare industry he participated in reoccurring Health ISAC meetings as well as operationalizing no-cost services offered by the Health ISAC. Upon taking a role in a government at Mecklenburg County he began participating in the MS ISAC and performing similar integrations of no-cost services such as the Cyber Threat Intelligence indicator sharing platform.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys going on adventures with his wife and two daughters and watching motorsports of all types.
