Adam McCombs
Chief Product Officer
Adam McCombs is the Chief Product Officer at the Center for Internet Security (CIS). He is responsible for the strategic direction, development, and management of CIS's product line, consisting of CIS-developed and third-party integrated software products and services.
McCombs is a visionary executive with 15+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in product development, design, and engineering. His expertise lies in planning, building, and managing cutting-edge SaaS platforms.
McCombs has a deep understanding of product development methodologies, emerging technologies, industry practices, Agile practices, and UX/UI design principles.
He began his career as a Senior Product Manager at Cisco Systems, Inc., and went on to serve as the Chief Product Officer at Livly, LINQ, and Vantaca. In 2008, he founded JumpForward, a startup that quickly gained traction and was successfully acquired by Vista Equity Partners in 2016.
McCombs holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems (MIS) from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, and an MBA from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.
