Learn about CIS Controls Implementation Groups and the Controls Assessment Module
Thursday, August 29, 2019 | 2:00 PM, EDT
The CIS Controls Implementation Groups (IG) are self-assessed based on your organization’s resources and cybersecurity expertise. We split the 171 CIS Sub-Controls into 3 separate groups as a new way to prioritize the CIS Controls. These are all a combination of technical and procedural defenses. For IG1, we have selected 43 CIS Sub-Controls as our new cyber hygiene that is aimed all smaller organizations with fewer resources. The CIS Controls Assessment Module helps organizations measure their application of the IG1 in Windows 10 environments.
What Attendees Will Learn:
- Learn about Implementation Groups
- Why Implementation Group 1 is the new cyber hygiene
- How the Controls Assessment Module can help you measure Implementation Group 1 in Windows 10 Environments
