CIS Benchmarks October 2020 Update
CIS is excited to announce the release of the following CIS Benchmarks. These CIS Benchmark releases would not have been possible without the time and contributions from community contributors through the form of tickets, comments, and joining our community calls. These contributions are invaluable to our consensus process. Thank you to all of our volunteers!
CIS ROS Melodic Benchmark v1.0.0
A secure configuration guide for the Robot Operating System (ROS) Melodic running on Ubuntu Linux 18.04. A few areas covered in this CIS Benchmark include:
- Initial configuration setting for ROS
- Various services settings
- Network configurations
- Logging and auditing settings
- Access, authentication, and authorization settings

CIS Oracle Database 19c Benchmark v1.0.0
A secure configuration guide for Oracle Database 19c. The guide was tested against Oracle Database 19c installed with and without pluggable database support running on a Microsoft Windows Server instance as a stand-alone system and running on an Oracle Linux instance also as a stand-alone system. Future Oracle Database 19c critical patch updates (CPUs) may impact the recommendations included in the document.
