CIS Benchmarks June 2021 Update
We’re excited to announce our CIS Benchmarks June 2021 updates. The following CIS Benchmarks have been released and include mappings to CIS Controls v8, including Safeguards and Implementation Groups (IGs). Going forward all new and updated CIS Benchmarks will be mapped to CIS Controls v8.
These CIS Benchmark releases would not have been possible without the time and support of community contributors through the form of tickets, comments, and joining our community calls. Your contributions are invaluable to our consensus process. Thank you to all who volunteered!
CIS Azure Kubernetes (AKS) Benchmark v1.0.0
Prescriptive guidance for running Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) following recommended security controls. This CIS Benchmark only includes controls which can be modified by an end user of Azure AKS.

CIS Docker Benchmark v1.3.1
A secure configuration posture for Docker Engine 20.10. This guide was tested against Docker Engine 20.10 on RHEL 7 and Ubuntu 20.04.

CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark v1.4.0
Major changes in this Benchmark:
- Updated multiple audit and remediation steps to match changes in AWS.
- Added recommendations for S3 buckets settings
- Adjusted wording in multiple recommendations to clarify the intent
