The CyberCast

The CyberCast is a podcast geared towards Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), and Information Technology (IT) Practitioners. Andrew Morgan of The Cyber Nation started The CyberCast in 2021. He runs the podcast with co-hosts Phyllis Lee of the Center for Internet Security® (CIS®), Ryan Weeks, and Wes Spencer.

The CyberCast explores the CIS Critical Security Controls (CIS Controls) across 20 episodes. Each episode explores a new security control, including how it maps to different frameworks, what impact it has, how to build a policy around it, how cyber threat actors exploit it, how to defend against these attack attempts, and what common mistakes or oversights you can look out for when implementing the security control.
