The Center for Internet Security and MS-ISAC Welcome New Executive Committee Members and Chairperson

EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y., Oct. 1, 2024 — The Center for Internet Security, Inc. (CIS®) and the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center® (MS-ISAC®) are looking forward to the next era of leadership with the election of four new Executive Committee members for 2024-2027, and new Committee Chairperson for the 2024-2026 term. The newly elected members bring a wealth of experience and guidance to more than 17,000 state, local, tribal, and territorial organization members.

The new members of the Executive Committee are Jason Skeen, IT Security Manager, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina; Joshua Bauman, Director of Technology, Festus R-VI School District in Missouri; Torry Crass, State Chief Risk Officer, State of North Carolina; and Patrick Wright, Chief Information Security & Privacy Officer, State of Nebraska.

In addition, Terry Loftus, Assistant Superintendent & Chief Information Officer, San Diego County Office of Education, will begin his term as Chairperson of the Executive Committee.

“Our Executive Committee is of tremendous value to the MS-ISAC membership, ensuring every state, local, tribal, and territorial member organization, regardless of size or level of resources, has a voice representing their interests to key external partners, such as Congress, the White House, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, and Sector Risk Management Agencies,” said Karen Sorady, Vice President of MS-ISAC Strategy and Plans. “We would like to thank our outgoing committee members for their ongoing leadership and continued commitment to the MS-ISAC mission.”
