CIS’s Expansion and Growth Continues with Two Executive Hires

Cybersecurity Nonprofit Plans on Hiring 50 More Staff This Year

CIS continues its growth and expansion with two new executive level hires. The new staff are Meg Keyes, Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Services, and Sean Atkinson, Chief Information Security Officer.

Meg Keyes, CIS’ new Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Services, extensive experience includes more than 15 years of marketing and brand strategy work with Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (GSG). Most recently, Keyes served as Senior Vice President, Brand Strategy and Communications for Ayco, a GSG company specializing in financial planning, education and investment services. She also served as Ayco’s Senior Vice President, Digital Media Technology in addition to numerous other high-level positions for the company.

Keyes earned her Bachelor of Art in Political Science and History from the State University of New York in Buffalo, and a law degree from the Albany Law School of Union University in Albany. Keyes is an Adjunct Professor for Business Strategy and Policy at the Lally School of Management and Technology at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Sean Atkinson, CIS’ new Chief Information Security Officer, was formerly the Global IT Compliance Manager for GLOBALFOUNDRIES, a semiconductor foundry which manufactures integrated circuits. Atkinson also serves as an Adjunct Professor in Computer Science for Albany’s College of Saint Rose. He earned a Bachelor in Science from Sheffield Hallam University, an MBA in Technology Management from Drexel University and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from the College of Saint Rose.
