CIS Wins Election Security Partner of the Year at Microsoft Security 20/20
EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y., Mar. 9, 2020 – The Center for Internet Security, Inc. (CIS®) announced today it has been named a Microsoft Security 20/20 award winner in the Election Security category. CIS was honored among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation, integration, and customer implementation with Microsoft technology.
“Both the Elections Infrastructure Information Sharing Analysis Center and the Security Best Practices teams of CIS are honored to have earned this award from working with Microsoft’s Defending Democracy teams to improve elections security for state and local elections,” said Curtis Dukes, CIS Executive Vice President of Security Best Practices & Automation Group.
The award was unveiled at the inaugural Microsoft Security 20/20 partner awards, on February 23, 2020 during the RSA conference in San Francisco. Microsoft announced award winners in 16 categories that span from security integration partners, system integrators, and managed security service providers.
“Solving our mutual customers’ security challenges is very much a team sport,” said Andrew Conway, General Manager, Security Product Marketing, Microsoft Corp. “We are pleased to recognize these leaders in the ecosystem at Microsoft’s inaugural security awards.”
According to Microsoft, only through collaborations can organizations help customers get clarity and become more secure. The security ecosystem must work together to create a vision for the future where people, information, and companies are made safer. Microsoft Security 20/20 provides an opportunity to honor Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions and services during the past year.
