Pelgrin was the President and Chief Executive Officer of CIS from 2010 until his retirement in 2015.  He is the Founder, and served as the Chairman, of the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center® (MS-ISAC®) from 2003-2015.

In addition, Pelgrin served as the first Chairman of the Board of Directors of the nonprofit Global Cyber Alliance (GCA) until December 2016, and currently is GCA’s Global Strategic Advisor.  Pelgrin was honored to have served as a Commission Member of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Commission on Cyber Security which briefed the 44th President of the United States on cybersecurity.  He is also Co-founder and Partner of CyberWA, Inc., an exclusive cybersecurity service to help protect corporate executives, celebrities, politicians, and other high value individuals from cyberattacks.

In addition to the appointment of Pelgrin, CIS also announced:

• The appointment of Roberta (Bobbie) Stempfley to the position of Vice Chairman of the CIS Board of Directors.  Stempfley is also the Director of the CERT Division of Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute (SEI). She previously served as Acting Assistant Secretary and Deputy Assistant Secretary, Office of Cyber Security and Communications, U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Also named to CIS Board positions were:

“We are immensely grateful and honored that Will Pelgrin has re-joined CIS, and Bobbie Stempfley is assuming the Vice Chair role.” said John Gilligan, CIS President and CEO. “With the addition of internationally-recognized industry leaders Amit Yoran and Todd Kimbriel, CIS is well-positioned to expand our role as a global, independent leader in cybersecurity for public and private organizations,” he added.
