Center for Internet Security Launches New Endpoint Security Technology
CIS Endpoint Security Services provides endpoint protection powered by CrowdStrike for U.S. State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial government entities; Offers fully-managed endpoint solution, monitored by CIS Security Operations Center.
EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y., Nov. 4, 2021 – The Center for Internet Security, Inc. (CIS®) launched a new service Nov. 1 to provide cybersecurity protection for U.S. State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) government entities at the device level.
CIS Endpoint Security Services (ESS) provides organizational endpoint devices like laptops and servers superior protection powered by CrowdStrike, an industry leader in endpoint security technology.
The service is a fully-managed endpoint solution monitored by the 24x7x365 CIS Security Operations Center (SOC). Through Endpoint Security Services, the CIS SOC becomes a seamless extension of an organization’s cybersecurity team, monitoring their enrolled devices with a track record of top-notch detection and response times. Having the CIS SOC as a full-time partner in cyber defense can save budget- and resource-constrained government entities time and money while helping to close critical skills gaps in cybersecurity.
“With the combined strength of CrowdStrike’s industry-leading endpoint protection technology and our 24x7x365 expert SOC, we’re excited to provide SLTT organizations an affordable and effective way to keep their devices and IT infrastructures protected from the very active cyber threat they face today,” said Ed Mattison, CIS Executive Vice President of Operations and Security Services.
CIS ESS offers managed detection and response (MDR) solutions that include next-generation antivirus (NGAV), endpoint detection and response (EDR), and other protections, including asset and software inventory, USB device and user account monitoring, and host-based firewall management.
Deployed directly on an organization’s devices, CIS ESS can identify, detect, respond to, and remediate security incidents and alerts. The service can mitigate threats that other measures may not, stopping attacks against an organization’s devices in their tracks by killing or quarantining malicious files.
