Chinese Hackers get Creative with Government Attacks

Chinese hackers are pretending to be government personnel and sending emails to other government employees in an attempt to access confidential information, according to Check Point research.

“We believe that the US Government should take note,” said Check Point. “To attack the US Government, these Chinese hackers wouldn’t need to change much, [except] making their lure documents all in English, and include themes that would trigger the interest of the victim.”
