Child identity theft is on the rise: Here’s what you can do

Child identity theft now outpaces that of adults. Often, it isn’t discovered until many years later when a child becomes an adult and tries to get a car loan, student loan, or credit card. By then, the damage is already done. But there are some things parents can do to protect their kids. The Center for Internet Security’s TJ Sayers and Tiffany Bardwell shared their insight with the Albany Times Union.
